I saw a t-shirt yesterday that said something like
"I would rather my daughter work in a whorehouse than play for the Yankees "
Not meant as a jab at you Bigfish but I have to wonder if these ridiculous displays of bitterness will ever go away. I know Yankees fans are equally brutal but the team backs it up with results.
All I can say is it is a good thing that Matsui can hit. Did you see some of his fielding in game 1 ? WELL, WELL hit balls by the Sox but some really bad stuff in the outfield.
:D
whatever. I don't think this series is even close to being over. Yankees head into a weaker part of their rotation now.
we'll see

This is far from over. The Sox almost made remarkable comebacks in both games. If these games were just a couple of innings longer, I'm sure the Sox would be up 2-0 today. I see them taking the next four easily. Forget Schill and Petey...I hear Lowe owns the Cardinals.

Ronnie- I think it has to be someone a little more obscure than Olerud to have a big impact. Remember Brian Doyle?:read:

The Sox should change the letter on their hat, I mean the "B" don't stand for "Boston" it stands for:
"B"abe
"B" ucky
"B"oone
"B"ernie
and Tonight "B"rown....
good luck sox fans, you'll need it.....
