I go thru these EVERY year...this year I went thru 2!

I need a 2 mil cp hand held chordless light. that can take serious sea spray. I bought a west marine one but the switch is jusnk and it went the second week! It has a good beam though and is rubberized. I have sort of got it working again for the rest of the year. The coleman ones crapped out in no time and their beam is not tight but has a nice trigger switch.

Does anyone know of a killer hand held spot light? The more power the better.

I have experienced the same problem. My West Marine and Coleman died in less than one season.

I bought a cheapie 2 mil cp at Walmart and it is bright and working fine. I think I paid $18.99.

I ordered that light..10 mil cp. It might be too big actually but I have to see this thing. It weighs 16 pounds! If it is too big I'll get another 2 mil cp handheld light. And use this 10 mil cp light for giving a sunburn to those who are in my spot.:D...I'll bring it on the beach while surfcasting and shine it down wasque to see whats going on!;)

12 volt battery. 16 lbs. I bet that baby has a car battery in it. Try hodling it up for more than a few seconds. It would be a fun toy to mess with the idiots that keep their high beams on.

What do you guys use such a high powered light for?
Night vision killers, there are few things I hate more heading toward boaters who use these things as headlights.

Actually the 2 mil cp is fine..I like it when I approach rocks and tight entrances (jetties) in the night...I know where I am I just want to see the rocks before I commit to get in tight. I don't use them as headlights...one charge lasts me 1/2 a season.

I think I need a smaller light. This is awesome to have around though. I tried it out and almost set my neighbors house on fire:D
