Hi guys,
Been lurking here for a while and just started making a few plugs, mostly needles and pencils so far.

Almost ready to attempt some swimmers and I was wondering how the back loop in the front section of a jointed plug was done.

In CapeSams photos in Steelheads recent post it looks like they aren't wrapped the usual way like on the back of the tail section.
Am I just not seeing it or is it done a different way.

And thanks to everyone on the boards for all the great help.

KenM

K....it's the same as any tail loop.....just abit tighter to the back end of the front half....the front of the back section is the same as the nose on any plug, but I take a screw driver and make small slot in the wood first, so when the loop goes in it's sunk in aways...that way it doesn't spin in the wood and makes for a shorter joint between the two sections....got it:spin:

Got it CS !
I can't see it in the pic because it is so tight to the plug but I couldn't figure out how else you could do it.
You can tell I don't fish jointed plugs .

Thanks
