Rob Rappin Mikey 10-21-2004, 11:19 AM I just talked to my buddy whose been down there since last weekend. It is definitely fishable! bart 10-21-2004, 11:20 AM thanks man, thats all i wanted to hear.... RIJIMMY 10-21-2004, 11:21 AM I never have any luck in North winds down there. I am heading down to Narr. tomorrow night, I'll give it hell but I'm not too confident. Nebe 10-21-2004, 03:09 PM today i had 10 minutes to fish... I said what the hell... 2 casts, 2 fish :D North winds do suck you just gotta know where to fish.... Rob Rockcrawler 10-22-2004, 01:14 AM Its funny, i live bout an hour and a half away from SoCo and i only head down when there is a N or NE wind. I will go with other winds but that is what i look for down there. I seem to catch a lot more with the northerly blow. Was down tuesday with a mighty wind and i got a lot of bass, nothing big but lottsa fun. And for the first time since i was a kid i actually saw some what appeared to be adult pogies. RIJIMMY 10-22-2004, 07:44 AM ROb, in the places I fish, if the wind is from the North, its an offshore wind and shuts down the fishing. There are spots I hit when its north but with the SW wind it usually sets up good conditions with an onshore wind. Maybe I need to explore more.... bart 10-22-2004, 09:56 AM N winds were good for me yesterday. 4 fish, 12 - 21 lbs cheferson 10-22-2004, 10:04 AM Big bart cleans up again. All on eels? bart 10-22-2004, 10:08 AM got a pair of 18 pounders on plugs, other two fish 12 and 21 fell to the slimy ones. they were all released..... It all weeded and cloudy? Surf too big? Any fish around?Hoping to get out tonight after work. Nebe 10-23-2004, 03:33 PM big surf...very dangerous. But its time for the bike ride and you might get away with it. you'll be somewhat out of the wind, but the waves might make it unfishable. cheferson 10-23-2004, 05:34 PM Wanna go and watch the series eben? im goin when i get out. spence 10-23-2004, 05:40 PM Went out for blackfish this morning in Little Compton.
