I can feel it setting in already!:( I am finding it more and more difficult turning plugs outside due to temperature, painting and such is more difficult! I gotta find a warm spot soon to work! With the time changing I can already feel the winter doldrums setting upon me with the early darkness and such......Gawd I hate winter!:af: Gonna have to squeeze out as much "summertime" fun as I can at this point cause it is gonna have to last me awhile!

I have been feeling it also!! I haven't been fishing in a month now!!
For one reason or another I just have not found nthe time or the weather :af:

I have started Boat repairs and they are almost done. I am hoping for a cod trip soon!! Cause after Nov its a long time till April.

I am going to try to turn out 4 new rods this winter??

I need to make a 2nd Fluke rod, and rebuild the other. I am going to make another Wire rod, and a new Cod rod.

I like to have two of everything!! Except Wifes!! One is more then anyone should have!! :laughs:

I don't think Slingah would mind a bunch of plugs being built in his house.

Hey, let's not forget the much-maligned tautog.....it'll help prolong your season -

Okay, alright, not a glamour girl like the striped bass, I'll give you that.....buck teeth, blubbery lips - maybe a little on the chunky side....

But by God, they do make a fine chowder :D

I think you Rhody Guys are gonna get a late fall run...Almost 70 degrees outside here and tommorow is November 1st, water hovering around 60 degrees! I havent started fishing in my home waters yet and dont plan to for at least another 2 weeks...Wouldnt even talk about quitting yet, Winters are to damn long!!

I totally agree cowhunter. We had a solid push of big fish a few weeks ago, but as of late there seems to be a lull...either there is less bass this year or the big push hasn't happened yet.

Gentlemen, I was in NYC all weekend and went to the beach last night after I got home ( needed some "real" fresh air although the people in NYC were very nice) it is not over by a long shot and if you are hanging it up you had better think twice. BM it was not the beach you called me about.

Hey Fellas,

I know where there is some pretty phenomenal fishing about 2 1/2 hours South of you...It should last from now...on! Don't forget your buddy down the beach.
