Took a ride with my boy down the road 30 minutes to an area i havent fished sence the spring. Brought some dead eels with us.:devil2: :devil: At 930pm got my first 30. SHe put up a sick fight, running right at the top of the water, splashing all over the place. Took her in this morning to see pt.judejoe ,tipped the scales at 31.5lbs:happy: :D :D Tons of blues aropund last night too, its far from over:)

good to hear your catching:D I went to Canal Saturday early mornin the time i left the ditch is the time they started picking. Tis is not my year yet for even a 20#:af: :smash:

that's a nice size was is it also a fatty one?

I fish the dead eels the same way as a live one. The eel was massive , fat as a half dollar and probally 20 inches

Definetly keep your dead ones, just put them in the freezer till you need them. Just make sure to stretch them first, so they wiggle. Ive gotten tons of nice fish this season on dead eels.

i friggin hiked all of naps, charlestown, and gansett last night from 730 til 530 this morn and got one friggin monster blue on eels. :af:

guess i missed em somewhere.....:smash:

Yeah, its just blood from laying on one side in the cooler overnight.I also have to thank Joe , for the advice about easing my drag up a bit after losing two nice fish last week.

very close, just caught my smallest striper of the year a bit ago, bout 10 inches. Funny get my biggest then a day later my smallest of the year:smash:

Chef Boy R Dee - Lets jusy say I could be at that spot in under 10 minutes, at CFP in under 8 minutes, and fishing stone bridge in less than 5.

I cant give you the exact location - before I know it I'll have guys standing outside the shop wanting to buy plugs.:smash:

Thats right about where i thought, that area is my old romping grounds from back in the day, had a lot of good friends who lived around there.
