the patriots are looking real good considering all their injuries. with all the banged up db's, o- line, and receivers they crushed a good bills "d". as long as brady and dillon ( real deal or what ) stay healthy plus some returning injured, methinks we'll be in jax-ville. can't wait for the possible rematch with the hamburg kneelers!!!!! go patriots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You guys have lost it they beat two crappy @$$ teams and now there on there way to the superbowl:rolleyes: At least Pittsburgh had to work for there interceptions and turnovers against the Pats, Bledsoe just threw the ball to the Pats D, by the way how many touchdowns the Pats score?? Seems like they are having troubles in the red zone if you ask me:)

Bledsoe has no field vision...I have been saying that since he was drafted! He has zero ability to find his secondary recievers and can't read the pass defense all that well!:smash: He basically sucks and always has!:D

How many touchdowns did the Pats score? How many do they usually score? Not 3 or 4 or 5......I think Brady averages 2 a game.....average! Vector...if you can't see the Pats for what they are....a team who can win no matter what it takes or who they are playing due to the fabulous system they work under....then you are missin' it!:smash: No one ever said they were a scoring machine....they are not! However they just keep winning! How do you explain that? 22 out of the last 24 games? Did they play all sh*t bums?

By the way....when the Steelers beat the Pats.....it was because of all of the turnovers we committed! We beat ourselves to death that game!:smash:

rookie qb won't hold up in the long run, cowher's avg at best, kneelers will falter, MAY make afc champ game in foxboro. if they do the patriots will crush the aluminum foil curtain. can you say pretenders?

BigFish
11-15-2004, 06:17 PM
You got that right sister!

Whats with these people who think the Patriots are some paper tiger?:smash: The Pats are smashing all comers and leaving nothing but disappointment and disbelief in their wake! The only team that can beat the Patriots is the Patriots!:D

agreed. when they put it all together, they can crush anyone. just wait till they're healthy!! best coaching staff around, these guys get it. freekin corey dillon....omg, never knew what it was like to have a legit feature back.

How do you figure the Steelers will play the Pats in Gillete we beat you? I think when the chips fall the Pats will be in Heinz if they make it that far. And let's stop making excuses the Steelers have literally rammed it down the throats of two of the best teams in the NFL I dont think your boys win in Heinz without the interceptions and fumbles the Steelers manhandled the PAtises on both sides of the ball WAKE UP!! And as far as doubting Ben R this guys the real deal I dont see him just falling apart:rolleyes:

Bigfish it's awfully funny all of the critics all focusing on there percentage in the red zone this morning on talk radio, they must think it is a problem also:rolleyes:

Geez, all of a sudden there is a red zone issue....come on, its just a couple of games....THAT THEY HAPPENED TO WIN!:smash: Like I said before....the Pats don't score more than a couple touchdowns a game anyway.....so what is the problem?

Besides...it is the WEEI's job to look for and discuss shortcomings....and there ain't alot for them to badmouth the Pats for!:laughs:

I tell ya what Bigfish and Afterhours let's make this productive instead of counterproductive I am hoping your gambling men. If the Pats go farther than the Steelers do this year I will take both of you together or seperate for day/night fishing of your choice on my boat and wear a Pats Jersey the entire time we fish, you may have to provide the shirt though. However if the Steelers go farther along in the season you guys will have to host me for a day/night fishing the surf in the sand each and you will have to wear the Jersey I provide:D Deal??

On another note I really feel for Drew Bledsoe I was hoping he would have done well in Buffalo, it's ashame an arm like that and he's sacred poop to stand in the pocket and wait for things to develop downfield:hs: :hs:

Bledsoe is exactly the quarterback I always knew he would be...feet of stone and head of bone!:smash:

As for wager....count me in on that one VF!;) What size shirt do you wear?:bl:

Vectorfisher

We'll get to shirt sizes in a little over a month until then keep your fingers and toes crossed:D

BigFish
11-15-2004, 10:02 PM
I'll warn ya VF....the Pats have a proven system with a proven coaching staff and the Steelers got nothin' but a little hot streak going on!:smash: What Patriots number will you prefer on your Patriots shirt?:laughs:

I've got a feeling that Bledsoe will be out in Oakland next year (as a back up maybe)
If he gets to start, he will handing off to Ricky Williams :smokin: :smokin: :smokin:

Steelers' remaining schedule:

11 Sun Nov 21 at Cincinnati
12 Sun Nov 28 Washington
13 Sun Dec 5 at Jacksonville
14 Sun Dec 12 NY Jets
15 Sat Dec 18 at NY Giants
16 Sun Dec 26 Baltimore
17 Sun Jan 2 at Buffalo

Who do they lose to in that stretch? At Jacksonville, maybe, if Leftwich is back by then? Certainly not to the Giants  I'd say possibly to the Jets but they have them at home.

I can't see the Steelers finishing worse than 14-2 to be honest with you.

This is what the Pats have left:

11 Mon Nov 22 at Kansas City
12 Sun Nov 28 Baltimore
13 Sun Dec 5 at Cleveland
14 Sun Dec 12 Cincinnati
15 Mon Dec 20 at Miami
16 Sun Dec 26 at NY Jets
17 Sun Jan 2 San Francisco

You know the Jets are gonna play them tough and Pennington will be back by then.

However, I certainly think the Pats are capable of going into Heinz and coming out winners. The playoffs are a different game for a rook ;)

The way WEEI was talking about Brady today,
He should just retire now and the league will put him in the hall of fame now :laughs:
The guy is a VERY good QB ( not great) and has BY FAR the most complete team and coaching staff around him!!!
Put him on Buffalo, and see how great he is!!!
Brady is in the same situation as Bob Greise with the Dolphins back in the 70s.
A GREAT defense, great running game and special teams!!!
And they put him in the hall of fame!!!

They also talk like Payton Manning sucks!!!
Give me a frigging break!!!
The guy is on pace to throw over 50 touchdowns this year and other than a few GREAT players he has (Harrison) Indy sucks!!!
