Charleston 11-18-2004, 12:43 PM Great start! Nice paint! They just keep getting better! I really like the bottom plug. I think I'll try that color scheme.
Did you use an airbrush?
steelhead 11-18-2004, 12:57 PM Hey! Nice work!!! Your bucktails look pretty good as well. You got the idea. Maybe we do lunch and talk pluggage sometime.
The Dad Fisherman 11-18-2004, 01:34 PM Thanx guys...the bottom 2 were my favs out of the batch. Definitely enjoyed the hell out of doing 'em.
Sea-5 those were all done w/ rattle cans, but an Airbrush is already on the Xmas list. :D
TFF you are correct on what I'll be doing.... I already added NJTackle.com to my wife's Favorites. Figured that was a subtle hint for xmas presents also
SH pluggage and lunch.....2 great things that go great together....sounds good.
I screwed up a couple that I gotta sand down and repaint but the xmas list is growing and growing :D

I wouldn't bother...just repaint or turn into a funk pattern. It is a popper after all...

Charleston 11-18-2004, 02:26 PM All my plugs have been doen with rattle cans. I will be looking for Santa to bring a new Iwata Eclipse and a shop vac so I can make a spray booth.
spence 11-18-2004, 02:32 PM I did plenty of airbrushing in art school. I think rattle cans work just dandy for most things. I can always add details with a brush, which gives the plug a neat character once expoxied.
Perhaps this will limit what I can do...but it's just a plug right?
