Any recommendations for a very good rod builder in the RI area? I would like to have a new G Loomis surf rod handle re-wrapped with cork tape in place of the Loomis abrasive wrap they use.
Thanks
Thanks

Thanks wader-dad 11-19-2004, 11:56 AM I had Joe Mollica of Snug Harbor Marina in Wakefield make me a 9 ft rod using a Lami GSB 1081M blank that I am happy with. I would say you can't go wrong using him. DaveS 11-19-2004, 12:01 PM Right here: http://www.striped-bass.com/shcr.shtml Saltheart makes a mean stick, and he's a site sponsor. Gloucester2 11-19-2004, 12:05 PM Another vote for Saltheart . . . he wrapped a 1209 conventioanl for me and it's awesome ! chris L 11-19-2004, 02:50 PM in RI get a hold of saltheart and in mass get a hold of mikecc . they are both good builders so are a few others on the board . vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
