For those Hockey fans out there, the season ain't looking too good, not at all. I"m going through withdrawls. The good news as a Ranger fan is I don't have to see them miss the playoffs "again" Good article below if you're a hockey fan and a U2 fan:

No AHL in Whoville?

I know it's not the same but it's hockey. NESN is going to show quite a few old Bruins games in December. I can post a list if anyone is interested.

I'm heading to the P-Bruins vs. Monarchs on Saturday night.

The St. Louis Blues just pulled their AHL team the IceCats out of Worcester. They had a good thing going and a really strong fan-base.
I still play twice a week so I don't miss hockey.

Hahhahhaha, so true... Did you play in college? Are you in college? hhahahaha.

NHL and NHLPA are meeting next week, this is IT. If they can agree they will hold the season, if not see ya. Bring back the original six I say...

To the others in need of a fix, NESN is broadcasting some classics.

Dec. 8, 7 p.m. Game: Bruins vs. Capitals, Nov. 21, 1998: The Bruins and Capitals amass 270 penalty minutes. This is the game that Dafoe and Kolzig go at center ice.

Dec. 9, 7 p.m. Game: Bruins vs. Canadiens, Nov. 16, 1989: Trailing 2-0 with under three minutes remaining, Boston scores three late goals to defeat Montreal, 3-2.

Hockey?? Whats hockey??...I have to admit it I used to love it when I was a kid...But now...Could care less..I hate the trap game..I hate throwing the puck in the corner from the blue line..You gotta attack the goal...It seems the AHL has made some changes this year..A wider blue line for one..And a shoot out if the game is tied after regulation..Who knows maybe it will help if the NHL ever makes it back..I think all sports will have a lock out eventualy if salarys keep skyrocketing..Sat on the green monster this year..Kids got me tickets for my b-day..$75 a piece,@20 for parking, food, souvenviors,,add it up..it has to stop somewhere..

OK sorry for ranting:smash:
