Does anyone know when "Stripers Gone Wild" is going to be released? In time for Christmas?

Hi Everyone,

I just got back from Costa Rica where I was out of the editing loop for about 12 days. I'm working on the project ever day, almost around the clock at this point. I hope to hammer out the last changes this week and then it will take 12 days for packaging and shipping. It's going to be close, but I want to get it in as many stockings as possible. I also want it to be as near perfect as humanly possible.

Here's a couple of recent surfcasting shots to ease the pain of withdrawal.

Tom Richardson, former Managing Editor of Salt Water Sporstman magazine, fires off a cast with a Danny…looking for that last cow.

You can almost imagine a striper coming out of the curl and ambushing the plug.

For those of you interested in fishing Costa Rica – here are a couple of recent shots. If anyone is interested in accompanying me on my next safari (March 16 - 23) send me a pm.

Ron Thibaudeau managed to land these two sails -- first bringing one to the boat and then finishing off the fight on a second fish the mate had been dealing with, all this while we had to duck under a longline…twice! Just after we released the two sails, I found a turtle that had eaten TWO hooks on the longline and was about to drown…I jumped in the water, cut her loose and then we backed out the circle hooks and set her free.

This big mahi-mahi put up quite a fight and it was even hard to contain for this picture…it wasn’t difficult to eat for dinner however.

Wow, you never cease to amaze me. It has been nice and cold and your down there and able to catch double header sails. Mahi-mahi for dinner also.

Sweeeeet photos Mike. Your a very baaaaddd influence. Guess I'm gonna have to make a road trip south to try to find some hold over striper in Conn. :ss: :ss: What the heck it's better to fish than just dream of it. Tight lines and Happy Holidays my friend. The Striper Maine-iac---Ron

Glad you folks like the images and if JohnR is willing to cover the cost of download bandwith demands, I'll be happy to post a Striped-Bass.com trailer.
