This guy's about 7" long, a little over an inch in diameter at the fattest point. It has a #1 NJT Lefty lip, screw in the high slot. No belly weights. Will be rigged with either 2/0 or 3/0 VMC hooks. Swimms about 12 to 18 inches under. Haven't tried it in heavy curent yet...

I've been wondering about the lip placement etc. for a bit and that picture of the Warbel Swimmer got me thinking again. Many of the old plugs have a lip that sits well in front of the body of the plug. Was there a reson for that?
