You'll be welcome !!! But come in the fall for some good fishing !

Winter is late this year, it's getting cold but the fish is just gathering as if it were October !!!
And most people have taken their boat out of the water, so it's not overcrowded !

I even broke on a real nice one on a rock in 10' of water, couldn't stop it with the rod or the drag, hooked the bottom, saw it down there, turned around it with the boat twice, had to haul it by pure strength, no way, BROKEN !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I made 2 other drifts on the same spot, could see the pencil shining at the bottom, stuck, but the fish was RELEASED, that's GREAT.

She deserves it, good girl, go breed...

I then got doubles (teaser + plug) on the same spot, released them all afterwards... 8 fish in the boat, enough for the family and friends !!!

Spent the afternoon filleting...

I'll put samples of the teens I was so successful with last summer, in the Christmas parcel to the US, for you. You'll have to pick them up at my in-laws.

They very much resemble Sand Trout that I used to catch when I fished the Port Aransas area when I was stationed in TX.

Though after reading the link Olivier provided it seems they are much more like our stripers.
