After harassing the schoolies all weekend long we thought we would try the night time bite. My first December keeper, I know only 31'', but it's December. Mrstriper looked over when I hooked up and said "Is that your drag?" I borrowed my sons fresh water rod so it was a great fight. Maybe the fall run has just started? My wife won't let me hang it on the tree, go figure.

hey bite...considering that we put in literally hundreds of hours and only took two fish home...between us... a few filets in december help take the edge of winter off...

The point is that we , in general, let everything go...and that this was not a thread intended for someone to strike a discussion about the morality of keeping fish to eat...I think it was awesome that we were able to find KEEPER size bass in Dec....If someone wants to b@tch or comment about taking fish home, they should start a new thread.

Hey... Nice December Bass, enjoy it, and good for you out there catching :kewl:

No matter how big a fish, it seems, someone is never too busy to tell ya, ya shoulda put it back..... and it don't matter how many you put back before it...... anyway, thats a good "eatin" size, for shore.
