Hi John, how many clubs fish the MDA?
I know the CSA will have members fishing through the weekend. Also I presume RI clubs will be fishing, who else? It's for a great cause all around, good Idea whoever thought it up.

Hey John, if you ever went to a meeting you would know the answer to your question;)
No really though, I talked to Don at Weekapaug and he said that he has commitments from clubs up and down the east coast, from Delaware to Massachussetts. He is anticipating a big turnout from many clubs.
You fishing with us this weekend????

Right now it would be suidcide to try to fish normally this weekend. Smokey and I talked about maybe bait ch#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&g somewhere where I don't need to walk at all. Like maybe Carpenters beach. We'll see. Whether I can fish or not , I would like to donate my share of the entry fee. If you put in ten bucks for me John , I'll be sure you get it next time I see you . If that's less than needed , let me know and I'll give more . If its more than needed , give any extra to MDA.

Hey Z-man, your alive! Thought you fell off your favorite rock into LI. You better start spray painting your favorite rocks for me :D. I forgot how to fish.

No unfortunately this damn house is getting on my nerves, I still have some work to do to it before we finally move in. Good luck on the tourney this weekend, I am in next year no matter what.

John R,
There will be a pretty good turnout. We are expecting about 100 people, of which about 60 will be fishing.

The final weigh in will be at the Andera Hotel followed by a breakfast buffet. If anyone wishes to attend the breakfast it will be 8.95(all you can eat). If anyone wishes to attend the breakfast please call the shop before Friday and register. We need to let them know about how many will be eating.

...ummmm.....stupik question here.....

...is being a member here considered a " club "....

..I was thinkin of heading that way this weekend...

..I don't want to get in anyone's way...

....or take anyone's winner from them.....:D

JohnR

Yes - this is a loosely considered club as far as this tourney goes - not exactly the tree house club when you were a kid but WTHeck... And no dues...

Feel free to join in if ya want...

Saltheart - you don't need to cough up any cash (although any donations to me will be turned into eel money ;) )but I do hope you can fish...

Bloocrab , As I understand it , you don't register individually. Striped-Bass is registered as a team and if you catch a big one , you just tell them at weigh in that you are part of the striped-bass.com team.

Is that correct John or Don?

Fish can be weighed at any time at the shop. There are weight/length/club slips filled out and signed by both the weigh master and angler.
