Well growing up in a Italian house it was always Lazana. Then when I got Married it was turkey or ham all the time, and with 3 hoildays close toghter Turkey was not on top of my list!!

So as of 4 years ago I asked my kids what they like to have as a meal?? The answer, Clam Boil!!

Well if I was to die tomorrow and someone was to ask me what I wanted for my last meal, Clam boil would be the answer!!

So for the last 4 years thats what we have!! This year my whole family is comming and only one is against it!!! And I told him that He can go to Wendys up the st. !!

So here it is, My pot is a Beer keg converted into a huge pot!! I use the turkey burner and do it out side.

First 1 %$%$%$%$el (50#) fresh Clams
2. 15 pounds potato
3. 5 pounds Oinons
4. 10 pounds sausage
5. 10 pounds linguica
6. 3 pounds hot dogs

All in one pot!! God I am  already!!

Happy Holidays all!

Karl. I am Italian and can't spell "Brugiole" either but my family makes it with cooked egg inside. Good Stuff!

Christmas eve day is an Italian Fishfest with whiting, squid, salt mackerel, butterfish (starting sound like striper bait!)

Xmas eve is all of the above plus bista zugu (pasta/sauce)

Xmas day is all of the above and the above/above plus the ham and turkey.

after the final meal, a nap- Somebody wake me up in April!:D

For Christmas at my house its always Primus Ribicus. This year though I'm going for baked instead of mashed. Also this year the salad will probably cost more than the prime rib! One thing for sure , I always eat too much at Christmas ( Thanksgiving too) . :)

Antipasto, shrimp, Lasagna, Chicken Palm and of course my specialty Broccelltini (yah I can't spell it either!) Its very traditional I'll use venny, chicken, turkey, pork, veal, or beef. Pounded out and rolled thin with roasted red peppers, Prosuitta, cheese and flavored bread crumbs!
