Well, a few more hours at this half-hearted attempt at office work - couple of errands and that's it for this year :wavey:

Champagne and the Newport fireworks tonight from our 3rd floor deck that overlooks the harbor, then a light dinner....then...uhhh...:heybaby:

Traditional New Year's Day dinner of Louisiana black bean soup and fresh bread....Mrs Crafty says cabbage is good luck on New Years so the first day of '05 could be a real blast with that combined menu....

My boss throws one hell of a shin-dig. Our company holiday party is tonight.

Anyone ever been to Icarus restarant in the South End of Boston. It is outstanding. The boss caders a meal that is usually between 18-22 courses. Open bar.....un-friggin-believable.

So after a night of rabble-rousing, I will spend the rest of the weekend recovering. If I can manage - I am going to start work wrapping a couple of rods.

Have a safe and happy, and lucrative New Year!!!

Stay at home tonight and I promised my girls that they could stay up until midnight.

I usually do not watch much sports but I do enjoy the Bowl games so I will be watching some of that over the next couple of days.

All in all a quiet weekend with the family.

A safe and happy new year to everyone.

Me & Mrs. 5/0 and the L’il hooks are going to the X neighbor’s house to celebrate the New Years.
(they move across town)My X neighbor is coming by @ 18:00 to pick us up then drop us off @ his house, then coming back & picking up the rest of our neighbors. That way when we all leave we can call a taxi Van & have them drive us home. Do not want to start the New Year off on the wrong side of the Law!
I & we need to do some serious Partying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I don’t think that the Booze can flow any faster!

Any way IM (we) are looking forward to the New Year, It has been a long & torturous one. First My Job of almost 11 year’s Suck’s Notice I used a capital “S” & can’t wait to get out! It should not be long now! Enough on that one.
Secondly, I have lost one very close Grandmother that I used to call almost every day while IM stuck in Rush hour traffic just to say “Hi”. An awesome Uncle, an Aunt who has been the next best thing to my kids, and my Grandfather in-law who was like my Grand Dad to Me, he was Protégées & he & I had a serious language barrier we always agreed on a couple of Crevasse’s & Ca shotsa (sorry 4 the SP).
To top it all off My Dad who has been in the Hospital for the past 11 days. Today has been the best they, released him from ICU & into a regular room. Not to sound contradictory but he has been the healthiest & strongest person I know.He is on the right track & we all look forward to a Happy & Healthy New Year!

Saturday recover from tonite damage, salvage Sunday & put away the Tree & all of the light's then watch the Pats.

From Me & Mrs. 5/0 we wish you all the best in the up & coming New Year!!!

Sorry for the Buzz kill, but I had to tell somebody outside of my family.Whoooooo. I feel better now thanks guys.

Madame Jake and I just finished our full-contact shopping at Market-Basket! Really, really glad that we're staying in if the folks are that revved already. We usually have a super meal ( the Mrs. is a Great cook for those who haven't seen my waistline;) ) and watch the New Year come in. This AM I painted a few plugs. Tomorrow I clear them and line up the next run. Man, I have a plug monkey on my back!
