Anyone have any experiance with these? I know they are low end but I am just looking for a starter lathe for pluggage..and i can get one for relatively short money..
12" x 37" WOOD TURNING LATHE

Index pin contains 36 - 10° spacings for accurate fluting and marking on workpieces. Includes 4' face plate, spur center, live center, and wrenches.
• Distance between centers: 37'
• Swing over bed: 12'
• 5 spindle speeds: 600, 989, 1600, 2675, 3790 RPM
• Motor: 1/2 HP, 120VAC
• Drive spindle:
• No. 1 Morse taper plus
• 3/4-16 threaded.
• Tailstock: No. 1
• Morse taper

also 6 knives that go with it.

Price: $50
So what do ya think, have heard people on this site have opinions

1/2 HP, Lathe with tools etc. for $50 sounds like a rare find. I'd jump right on it.

was actually a 3/4 hp....
