Southern New England Sportsman Show
January 14,15,16 - 2005
The University of Rhode Island
Ryan Center
Kingston,RI

Dear Sportsman,

The Southern New England Sportsman Show is pleased to announce the exposition dates for 2005. Premiering at the University of Rhode Island’s new Ryan Center, the all new Southern New England Sportsman Show will be held on January 14, 15 and 16, 2005. Sure to be a first class event, the 2005 show will bring to Southern New England a true representation of the best Hunting and Fishing outfitters and equipment manufacturers the industry has to offer.

This year the National Wild Turkey Federation will host a sanctioned turkey calling contest with points awarded towards the quest for a national championship. The event is sure to draw top callers from throughout the Northeast as well as pro-staffers from the top call manufacturers in the region. The event is open to all levels with prizes awarded to the winners in each category.

The Northeast Big Buck Club will present the top whitetail deer from Rhode Island. Attendees will get a first hand look at the top bucks in the shotgun, archery and muzzleloader category and meet the hunters who harvested them. Included in the display will be the new State Record muzzleloader typical, taken by James Manni. This impressive 11 point buck scores a whopping 172 1/8 and shows why the little state of Rhode Island has been tops in the Northeast muzzleloader record book entries for the past ten years. Ken DeLisi will be on hand with his State Record typical whitetail which scores an impressive 156 0/8 in the gun category.

Fly fishermen will have an opportunity to meet Ed Lombardo and other top fly fishing experts from the Northeast as they demonstrate their casting abilities and conduct seminars on fly fishing in the region. Daily fly tying demonstrations will be hosted by United Fly Tyers of Rhode Island.

Debuting in the new, state of the art Ryan Center, the show will be held on two levels with over 200 spaces of pure hunting and fishing excitement. Whether it’s professional knowledge, trip planning or top of the line equipment you seek, the Southern New England Sportsman Show is sure to please.

See you there!!

Sincerely,

Ted Maguire
