I've got a Penn 710 greenie he can have for 2 grand. Maybe Joycasta is Doc's alias???? Steve:) PurpelNoon 01-24-2005, 07:47 PM Steve, Thats so funny. I was thinking the same thing. He got ripped! tlapinski 01-24-2005, 07:55 PM Originally posted by Steve HC At one point he was bidding against himselfnot to validate this goon paying what he did, but you don't understand ebay do you? he wasn't bidding against himself, he was bidding to beat the high bidder. look at the history again. tlapinski 01-24-2005, 07:59 PM i couldn't resist myself. i emailed the winning bidder this link... http://shop.thesurfcaster.com/cgi-bin/surfcast/BKWC3.html :laughs: PurpelNoon 01-24-2005, 08:01 PM He is gonna be peeeeesed! :D Now all I wonder is if the seller at Amazon is going to sell his/her copy for $105. bcaron 01-24-2005, 08:03 PM Thanks bluefishercat! :hee:  Zeno 01-24-2005, 08:19 PM At the Freeport show in few days you will probably be able to get a sign copy from the man himself, for $5 or $6 ProfessorM 01-24-2005, 08:25 PM I also have a signed copy of this book I bought in 1993. $86 bucks. It is a good book but $86 bucks. Always said fishermen will buy anything. I am ready to sell. P.M. Steve HC 01-24-2005, 08:30 PM tlapinski, Yeah, I guess e-bay is a partial mystery. Enlighten me. Steve:) theSURF121 01-24-2005, 09:06 PM Originally posted by Zeno At the Freeport show in few days you will probably be able to get a sign copy from the man himself, for $5 or $6 And you can get a copy of his defunct magazine as well. Maybe a Tri-Fin lure too. Mike P 01-24-2005, 09:14 PM Originally posted by theSURF121 And you can get a copy of his defunct magazine as well. Maybe a Tri-Fin lure too. Both issues, too---both of which are numbered "Volume One" :laughs: But, but, Toby, that $86 was for a first edition :wall: PurpelNoon 01-24-2005, 09:24 PM I'm trying to get as many surf/fishing books as I can signed because if I hopefully have a son one day, I feel it would be a special gift to leave him a series of old (by then) signed books. If it wasnt for the snow, I was going to bring my three remaining unsigned books for him(Muller) to sign at the Nassau show, but I never made it. Guess I will try Freeport. Zeno 01-24-2005, 09:38 PM Oh came on ! You know you will pimp those babies as soon as you get home ;) Zeno 01-24-2005, 09:40 PM Originally posted by theSURF121 And you can get a copy of his defunct magazine as well. That was a darn good magazine. Its a shame it was only two volumes before it folded............. PurpelNoon 01-24-2005, 09:41 PM LOL . Sure its tempting to sell 'em all. Then I can go out ond put a nice down payment on a 4wheel drive. Took out the 4cylinder front wheel drive Escape yesterday. It couldnt even get over a 6" pile of snow.:( PurpelNoon 01-24-2005, 09:42 PM He gave me one of those magazines a few years ago. I have it around here somehwere. I think the cover was him with a huge bluefish. Iwannakeeper 01-25-2005, 02:09 PM when and where is the freeport show? Freeport ME ? Date?
