Hey all of you plug turners I am assuming you airbrush your plugs! I gotta couple questions.

1. How much money would it cost to get a decent setup?
2. How hard is it to use?
3. Is the paint mixing complicated?

Reason I ask is that I am building an RC boat and would like to paint my own, of course I would practice on sheet rock or something to get the hang of it just trying to get an idea if it is worth it or not.

The questions you have to ask yourself what do you wish to accomplish? What kind of fancy graphics you want to do if any? What degree of realism you want to achieve? What is your skill level?

I started out painting scale models with a Badger 350 more then 20 years ago. It gave me good results for little money. It didn't take long to get used to it. Paint mixing is not that complicated, for model building there are even airbrushes and paints specifically made for use without thinning.
