Billyboy 11-04-2001, 10:21 PM Sunday is a better day for me.. Saturdays are hectic, but sundays are good play days. If it is Sunday, count me in. Give details on where to send money or call and reserve with credit card. Give the particulars and I'll check in tomorrow AM.
Thanks Chubsdad
Bill
the 18th is OK with me.....the hubby is booked all this month for hunting though:rolleyes:
redcrbbr 11-04-2001, 11:40 PM the eighteenth is good for me and mrs. crab
Got Stripers 11-05-2001, 07:22 AM My vote would go for Sat the 17th.
Canalratt1 11-05-2001, 11:07 AM I'm in either day may have some homeade cod jigs for sale to bring if anyone is interested.
JohnR 11-05-2001, 11:25 AM I think Saturday is best in respect to those of Church & Football scheduling on Sundays....
OK - Any problem with 50 for the boat (ouch) and 7 for rod reel rental? (plus an optional 10 for the first & biggest pools :p )
Tell me if you are in so I can get things going....
Thanks,
John
chubsdad 11-05-2001, 05:31 PM hey lohn just got off the phone with the andylynn they are booking quick. the only good date left is the 17th sat . i booked it under my name ill take care of deposit with andy . you take care of sighning people up we need to make sure we have atleast 24 people so its a go
Slipknot 11-05-2001, 07:45 PM Chubsdad, are you sure he said 24 minimum to book the whole boat. I have heard that usually 15-16 minimum would be needed to charter the boat.
Dress in layers people and bring coolers and bags for putting the fillets in. Sounds like fun.
bassmaster 11-05-2001, 08:01 PM where is this boat out of?
chubsdad 11-05-2001, 08:02 PM IT IS $1200.00 TO BOOK THE WHOLE BOAT. TO KEEP IT AT 50.00 A PERSON IT WILL TAKE 24 PEOPLE . HE WILL TAKE UP TO 27. IF WE GET 27 THEN PRICE WILL DROP . SO THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION IS YES WE CAN TAKE 15 PEOPLE IF WE WANT BUT IT WILL COST MORE.WE CAN ALSO DO A OPEN BOAT WITCH MEANS FIRST COME FIRST SERVE . MEANING ANYONE WHO SHOWS UP THAT DAY CAN GO BUT IF YOUR NOT THERE BEFORE THEM AND IT FILLS UP YOU CANT GO. THATS WHY ITS BETTER TO BOOK THE WHOLE BOAT.
chubsdad 11-05-2001, 08:08 PM BM IF WE ONLY GET 15 TO SIGHN UP ITS OK WE CAN CALL HIM AND MAKE IT A OPEN BOAT I WILL HAVE TO LET HIM KNOW BY THURSDAY NIGHT.
bassmaster 11-05-2001, 08:12 PM where is this boat out of????????

Saltheart 11-05-2001, 08:25 PM I Can't go in November. Isn't it better fishing later on? Like mid December? Anyway , if its the 17th , I'll have to pass. I'll be in Mexico til the day before.
Hope you guys knock em dead.

I do need to firm this list up, if anyone can't make that is on this list, let me know please on the other thread http://128.241.205.103/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2150
Also let me know if you may have a buddy or two to round things out. It looks like we can fill the boat but being a not-profit website ;) (as opposed to profitable) we can't eat any additional funds :p
BTW - What about weather dates and reschedules if it really snotty? What weather would stop them from running the trip?
Thanks....
Saltheart 11-05-2001, 08:48 PM Just talked to Smokey. Smokey will still be hunting in November so he's out.
JohnR 11-05-2001, 08:50 PM BM - the boat is out of Plymouth Mass - right down the street from ya....
Saltheart, I wish you and Smokey could make it - besides why would you want to go some place warm and vibrant like Mexico when you can increase your joint pain on the Andy Lynn? ;) :p
bassmaster 11-05-2001, 08:52 PM IM IN, YYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO:D
Saltheart 11-05-2001, 09:13 PM We would like to have gone.
For late season boating , I recommend the following.
Thermal shirt , cotton T shirt , heavy wool shirt , hooded sweatshirt , Waterproof windbreaker jacket or seperate windbreaker heavy jacket and a waterproof jacket over that. Lots of layers. Thermal long johns and jeans and 1 pair light sox , 1 pair heavy socks inside waterproof boots with Pac liners.
Top it all off with a woolen toke and woolen gloves (with or without finger slits).
You can always take stuff off.
Lots of drinking water and food like turkey sandwiches. Bring lots , you get very hungry and thirsty.
chubsdad 11-05-2001, 09:26 PM well it looks like we have a lot of people intrested in going thats great. it wont be a problem getting 24 it seems . if anyone needs a ride down im leaving from quincy. your more then welcome to ride down with me :)
