Ive been running a bead of superglue along the edge of the ferrule (sp) of each brush. Dries in a minute and is enough to hold the bristles in place. Solved 99.9% of my problems with strays. Obviously you just want enough to get into the ferrule and lock the bristles and it only takes a second to do. I do a whole batch in a sitting. By the time Ive done 20 brushes, the first ones ready to use. I like the fact that the acid brushes are wide and can cover a larger area with each stroke.

I buy my acid brushes at AC Moores. six for .99 cents. I buy four packs each time I go then take them home and recrimp the brissels with a real good squeeze from a pair pf pump pliers. Hardly a hair falls out but if one does I have a pair of needle nose tweezers that pick them right out.

Rather than using the acid brushes, try the small foam ones they are much better.
