Where's Pembroke MA? I'm in NH and might be interested if you dropped a few dollars. Will that setup suffice for small school bluefin and fat stripers and the troll?

Thanks Roop! I don't know anyone w/an Avet but am considering a lever drag setup to use between here and Tampa. SBFT, Stripers, Mahi, Kings. Your setup looked light enough to be fun but still enough to stop a decent fish. Were you happy w/ Avet? I hate buying gear and finding out I've got to replace it in a year or two!

I'm only selling some stuff because I need to free up some cash for more gear & will not need this gear until July - when $$ will be a little easier for me.

The Avet MX matched with the 17 - 40# St. Croix Musky stick is a real workhorse. I will always use St. Croix rods & the Avet is a no-nonsense reel backed up by a great company. I had this rigged with 50# Spiderwire Stealth as it was one of my backup rods on the ASA & I also used it on shark & bluefin - no problem.
