Good show.Met some good people like Pt.Jude Joe,Iron Mike and DZ.Got to see all of Crafty's art work, very nice, and meet his wife.Ran into Young Salt.

Spent more cash than I shoulda but the BM needles and Pt.Jude tins will fit nicely in the new plug bag.Now to find the time to rehardware all my older plugs with all the hooks and splitrings I got.

Back to racing and beer drinking.Break's over.

Thanks for the kind words, BW

Me and Mrs. Crafty got a chance to talk to Toonoc and his girls, Mr & Mrs. InTheSurf, Throwing Timber, TLap, Goose, RIRockhound, Roseneath and his missus - and a bunch if other S-B.com members I know I'm forgetting right now -

There were also the Usual Suspects at the show too, like DZ, Pt Jude Joe, PeteG, Seawolf, Capt. Corey, Iron and Mrs Mike (and Mini Mike) - unfortunately we had a lot of stuff to move out so we didn't get to join in the wrap party in the lounge afterwards

The turnout was good and we enjoyed it, although it was a lot of work - the DVD presentation on the early history of American sportfishing turned out great and it was very well-received too - I'll talk to John and see if he'd like to add it to the list of festivities for TFCTFN next Saturday so the rest of you guys can see it - it's a pissah.

Anyway, it was a great way to spend a cold afternoon in February and I personally inspected bags to see what kind of pluggage got snagged - really made you realize pretty soon we'll be rounding 3rd base and sliding into the 2005 season!

Thanks you guys for stopping by to say hi at our booth :kewl:

Nice day to get out and talk fishing and see some familiar faces. Chuck, nice seeing you and the Mrs., the artwork and dvd looked great!

Took the kids over to the skating rink afterwards, they had a ball. I must not have won anything in the raffle though, never did get a call. :( I never win anything anyways :laughs:

Geez, makes me feel better knowing I'm not the only one to get consistently skunked on raffles :bc:

No winnings for me either... although I did pick-up another great photo from Crafty, a pocket pack of tins from Pt Judith Joe and a nice BM Needle fish.

I'm still laughing about the scream my wife let out when Joe told her the eel attached to the eel-bob was real (she was poking it like it was a sluggo)... she's not much of an outdoors woman :laughs:

Good times. Nice to see everyone.

it was nice to see and talk to so many people there. it was also great to talk to pt jude joe, dz, crafty, and others during the show.

i would like to personally thank the saltwater edge for presenting such a great show! it was small enough where you could talk 1 on 1 with the customer or do small group demostrations, as many of the fly tying tables were set up for, but large enough where you could spend a couple hours looking around. it didn't have the cramped feeling like most of the "fishing shows" typically do. i'm looking forward to next year.

dennis, next time there is a contracting fee for using my computing skills outside work... :D

thanks peter, pete, corey, and the rest from the edge. great job!

(and Mrs.Roseneath on the ceiling  )She was a good sport about it though:) I think in the future at these shows S-B folk should have little badges with their avatars on them so we can know who's who.:D All in all it wa s a nice afternoon ,and nice meeting you all.
