Some new stuff from me. Jointed swimmers. 3 3/4 inch, AYC, used screw eyes on these. Nice snake like wiggle on top. Will dig about 6 inches if cranked pretty hard.

My first attempt at hand carved cranks. Got some good pointers from a local friend on these. These ones are pretty much a knock off of some stuff he does. AYC, screw eyes. The largest one is 3 1/4 inches. Nice wide wobble to them. Shallow divers, hit 3-4 feet on retrieve. I'll use these along with the above jointed swimmers chasing smallmouth in the local creeks.

Christ, those jointeds would be dynamite on sbass if they were made say eight inches long! Have you made any in that paint pattern like that? Very nice. (Is that a Lithos Line plug?):)

NJT Lefty 1 lip? Those will be killer. I know an estuary up here on the North Shore that the stripers would climb all over them this spring....

Thanks gents :)

Steelhead, I believe those are Atom type lips on the jointed ones. Got a batch from Bernzy a while back and finally found a good use for them.

Flap, I've done some stuff in the color for some guys on the Cape. Various plugs (needles, swimmers, poppers). Have not tried doing a larger sized jointed, sounds like I should concider it if I'm headed to the Cape this year ;)

... I bet they would work wonders and hold up in the surf as well ...

A little light for tossing in the surf (around 1/2 oz). Doubt I will throw them at landlocked stripers either. Really not build strong enough for that purpose. Smallmouth bass, no problem :D

Thanks Mike, I'll keep that info in mind. Might have to do up a couple with saltwater hooks.

I agree with Indianite. Fish like would would a fly in the wash at the beach break. Catch big fish.... Short line, let the current fish them for you... Maybe even on the end of a fly rod... Hmmmm....

Adam, certainly hope to make it up to the Cape and Rhody this fall. Really depends on work as it looks like a chaotic schedule for this year. Right now, things are looking good for a trip up there late Sept/early Oct. Will certainly let you know if I'm going to be in the area.
