I have done a search, but, I have a question. Does anyone make a jig for thru-drilling on a drill press. I get frustrated when I spend all the time turning and sanding and all that just to mess up the thru drilling. I would buy one if I could find one. I think where I mess up most of the time is finding the center, not the drilling part. Can anyone help please......Jay

Yes, that is frustrating. I usually through drill on my lathe, it works real well. And if its a center drilled hole I'll drill before turning. I rarely have a problem, cept when I rush. Try using the lathe as a drill press, it works for eyes and belly holes as well.:D

If you check out the christmas step by step I did (in the above forum) I posted a photo of a center finder that is pretty easy to make. In the popper how to, I show a jig that can also be used to center drill on the press.

Go to packardwoodworks.com and look at the veritas center marker. Worth every penny

Thanks...Mac, that is exactly what I want. I already ordered a different one from grizzly, but I might order that one too, that one is much better.
