Just so all of you who are planning on attending this years MSBA Sportfishing Expo on the 19th and 20th of this month know, the show is still at the Independence Mall but instead of being in the vacant Filenes Basement space as we have been the last 2 years, this year we will be in the vacant Bob's space at the mall level at center court. Entrance will only be available through the main mall. This new space will give us all not only alot more room to move, but for the vendors we hope it will provide an easier experience in regards to setup and breakdown with a loading area instead of dealing with those stairs. There will be boats on display this year inside the show itself and as you know we have added the "Plug Building Demonstration". We also will have improved lighting and better power sources to make this show the best yet for all.;) Hope to see you all there...enjoy!:D

I can't wait for this year's show as well. I thought it was great last year but it was definately a bit cramped down there for sure. I'm really looking forward to seeing the plug building demo's this year.

Joe, Think positive. If it was still down stairs and ya carried lots of heavy metal down there......If you sold it out then how much easier the up escalator would have been. :)

That's good news, hauling all that rubber up and down those stairs wasn't fun.

Bob,

As chair of the Event for the last at least 5 year I want to thank you for your kind words. Most would not beleive how much work goes into this show by what is really not a large group of NON_PAID VOLUNTEERS. Words like yours are what keeps me coming back year after year.

At MSBA we are committed to having an ALL Salt Water fishing Show without the BS. The boats are a stretch but they will be very limited and done in a classy way.

There are even a few suprises coming this year.

Don't forget we have the GRAND RAFFLE to benefit the juniors of MSBA. From what I hear there are some great prizes (like always)

I'll be manning the raffle table along with other volunteers and of course the junior members a.k.a. STRIPER SWIPERS.

Swing by, say hello and help keep the juniors division strong.

See you there...

It is going to be a great show this year, best one yet..It is a full house and it is packed with everything you could ask for in fishing. Not to mention the great line up of speakers and seminars scheduled. I am excited to be part of it and even more pumped about the fact that it is truley a sportfishing expo, no filler, just fishing...So if anyone is wondering wheather or not they should bother going, don't even think about it, the answer is YES!!! Looking forward to seeing everyone there, gonna be a great bunch of guys in attendance. Please keep an open eye out for me and be sure to say hi... :wavey:
