Been battling a bad cold. Finally got some epoxy on these guys the other day. Hope to get them on the water in the AM to see how they swim. Been playing with danny shapes like the top one. The next two are patterned after a Donny Musso swimmer. Then a slope nose swimme. Never done one this big before. And finally an 8" swimmer thats sort of a goo goo eye captain bill blend with a NJT pikie #3 lip on it, big 4/0 Mustad hooks. Weighs almost 4 ounces.
Got some blue/white ones too, but I messed up the epoxy. Got to redo it :-(

Mostly red cedar. (Thanks Salty for the scrap wood the other day at PF05...) The white one is AYC.
Steelhead, those are some sweet plugs you got there.

As well as July/August on Cranes Beach, if the coming summer is a repeat of last summer...

No, there's something magical about swinging a fly that you've tied, and having a bass take your offering. Don't think I'll ever let go of that. Some days it's a tough choice when I head out :-)
