View Full Version : New Point Jude Lures Site
JohnR 03-06-2005, 09:24 PM Point Jude Joe was in a pinch for a new website so he asked me to put together something simple quick with the more intricate to follow. Still a lot of tweaking to be done and in need of better imagesand descriptions but check it out...

Looking for some constructive criticism as well....
Thanks,
John

In The Surf 03-06-2005, 10:33 PM Gotta start somewhere. A little tweaking here and there and it will all come together. Good luck Joe, should be a good year for ya!

Yep - it's rough. It's the three hour website as opposed to the 3 week website :tooth:
fishaholic18 03-06-2005, 10:40 PM Nice work John...
I want one.:D
Pete F. 03-06-2005, 11:00 PM Looks good, But and it has nothing to do with the site. Saltwater edge does'nt list Point Judes in their online store. If I were Point Jude I would'nt list their store till they did. No sense pointing to a site that only shows Charlie Graves.
Nice....Go Point Jude Joe!
cheferson 03-06-2005, 11:28 PM Looks great Joe!
Pt.JudeJoe 03-06-2005, 11:55 PM :) Thanks folks , like myself, it is a work in progress ...and it's gonna get better . Major thanks to John R. the computer wizzard, without whom my site would still be like the Big Dig or Joan Rivers ...." under construction" .
JohnR 03-07-2005, 12:16 AM Joe - just pounding out a few ideas here....
Or this (again just ideas):

bloocrab 03-07-2005, 12:33 AM John... you may want to use a font that's a little kinder to the eye, or even larger...you got some room for it.....and the lighthouse is a little "weak". Gotta be some better pictures out there. Just my .02, since ya asked...:)
.....I like the picture too!! ....Even the pickiest fish ...choose Pt. Jude Lures, that's why there's always one in my bag!!
Crafty Angler 03-07-2005, 07:47 AM Congratulations, Joe from me and Mrs Crafty :kewl: - it's a start and a pretty good one at that! And thanks, too, for the link - it's much appreciated.
I've got a Pt Judith light shot I did at dusk with a Hasselblad 2 1/4 on Kodachrome - I'll dig it out for ya - it'll take a while, though, dropping off taxes today, gotta hit Prov. too to start getting ready for the RISAA show, etc, etc
I call ya once I get a little time to rummage through our image files.
Good luck - another big step in the right direction!
tynan19 03-07-2005, 09:10 AM Joe congrats on stepping into the 21st. :D J/k good luck this season and I (we) will be pulling for you. Pulling on fish that is.
John there are two ours at the bottom of the page. That second pic is sweet.
Mr. Sandman 03-07-2005, 10:01 AM Looks nice, good luck! . (Would like to see a close up of the lures though.)
reelecstasy 03-07-2005, 10:06 AM Looks great, Good luck... Like sandman said, love to see them in my hands...

I had to snipe the images (with permission of course) from Joe Lyons' site. We'll need to have a full spread photo shoot of these saucy lures at some date soon. Any requests for models :hihi: ?
(this should be good)
In The Surf 03-07-2005, 12:53 PM The SI swimsuit models. :heybaby:
tynan19 03-07-2005, 12:56 PM All of them especially the striper ones.:D

Our all new website will be launching in a month or so, with the complete Pt. Jude Lures selection. We haven't updated anything on the old site in a month or so.
Besides, we stock every lure Joe makes in our store. They've been available here since the day they started being produced.
