I know the dredging project started in October, but does anyone know how far back there dredging , and when it's going to be over? Also how will it effect the fishing? Thanks .

There was some talk on the SNESA email group and I got this from an older post. If you look back on the messages you'll find more discussion on this topic.

Frow what I understand, they're supposedly going to dredge the big sand bar/flat to the west of the channel in the pond. This dredging is "habitat restoratation" for eelgrass, and is to remove all the sand brought in because the breachway was made permanent, and the "catch basin" inside the breachway was never dredged. The shallows east of the channel in the pond will be untouched.

Its supposed to be done by April, not sure if they're on schedule though. Who knows how it will affect the fishing, will have to wait and see I guess. Here are some links with info
