Finally finished my first few plugs, so I did what any self-respected guy would do, bailed out of work and went to test them and some others on the river. It was great being out again. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a few of guzz's plugs, a gary2, a bassholl, a fixter, a bernzy and some salty's . Having made some "plugs", if you want to call them that, has given me a new appreciation of the what goes into making a plug that not only looks good but swims good. Anyway, all of mine had to much roll, the yellow/orange swam the best, followed by the blue danny, the others two need a lot of work. What causes excess roll, too thick in the middle, not thick enough in front, high center of gravity...? I know it has been said before, but thanks for being generous with your knowledge, it makes a big differnece. I need to go find something else to test tomorow. Thanks

Yeah, I'm only a couple of miles from that spot. Used to have my mooring in the North River.
