#^&#^&#^&#^& Raditz died, I heard it on WEEI this AM :(

Great guy, he'll be missed :(

I heard he took a fall down the stairs.

Yeh :(

He was awesome - I wish I had seen him pitch...

He was the first---and to this day the only---baseball player I ever got an autograph from :(

It's too bad he never got the chance to pitch for a decent team.

Being a young guy....I never saw him pitch, but I did enjoy listening to him on the radio from time to time.....he will be missed.

I know what you mean Mike.

He was a closer before they knew what a closer was.

Atleast you got an autograph.

Believe it or not he was the 1st baseball player my son ever got an autograph from too. We met him at the Fanfest when the all-star game was at Fenway a few years ago

I think he still has the MLB record for most strike outs in a season by a relief pitcher. I guess he fell and hit his head. Too bad. Paul

Great Guy. Met him a bunch of times. He did a lot for the kids also. When I played youth hockey he came every year to our banquets.
