Is it because you're looking to net them for bait? In my fishing expericnce, herring do not play a part in my strategt, just curious, maybe Im missing something. :huh: Nebe 03-31-2005, 06:35 PM RIJIMMY, its one of the first signs of life after a long winter.... it means that the bass will be here in a few weeks, it means you can go grab some bait if you wish, it means freshwater action is about to heat up... I think it means different things to different people. And if you think it doesnt affect your fishing, then that is fine. However, up until mid june it might effect your fishing and you wont even realize it... know what i mean?
