Hi from Cabo Land... In at 4AM out fishing at 6!

Landed and released a 8' 2" Striped Marlin on a live bait. Fought the fish Stand Up most the battle.

Out again tomorow!

Nice catch! Nice fight! Question though, those cuts on the underside look like the fish got caught by a wheel,(propeller). I ask this only because I remember my dad had a winning fish in a swordfish tournament disqualified when the captain backed down on the fish and cut it with a wheel. I also remember how pissed the old man was, and we never saw him come back pissed from fishing.....

Again, nice fish. I by no means wanted to detract from your trophy, nor hijack your thread.

DId you release him? You probably know that they can make recreations out of fiberglass and they look great. I would if I could ever catch one of those.

Great work :kewl:

Nice fish!! Someday I am going to make a trip like that. One things I did notice was that cheesy looking wrap on that rod :D

With the look on your face I am sure she is pissed. That is a great shot. It should be on your desk in the office.
