View Full Version : Another Newbie
Highpockets 04-01-2005, 10:25 PM A colleague brought in a couple issues of The Fisherman about a month ago and showed me the articles on plug making. I headed straight to the internet and found this and another board. Guess what. I'm hooked (pun intended). I appreciate all the helpful advice given so freely on this site. Hopefully I will be in your league some day and able to help others like you have helped so many. Now If I can get my pictures posted, you will see how hard I've fallen! :smash: :kewl:
Thanks again!

Fishpart 04-02-2005, 07:35 AM Much nicer than my painted sticks.....
Are those mushrooms a small natural edge bowl on top of a seperate stem? They look nice.............
redneck24 04-02-2005, 08:01 AM very nice. :kewl:
Highpockets 04-02-2005, 08:56 AM Thanks all. The shrooms are one piece with a natural edge left on the cap. I haven't figured out how to weight and hook them so they don't roll, but someone on this site will probably have some ideas!

Highpockets 04-02-2005, 06:20 PM Yes CaptainQ I made the duck calls. You can find good help at missmallard.com I must warn you, however, making duck calls is nearly as addictive as making plugs. HP
