Just got done speaking with a coworker on another jobsite and he reports seeing a school of small bass off the back of the site yesterday afternoon. They could've been herring but he says they were to big to be.

I trust this guy and believe him as he's a good friend and not known to be a BSer.

With that being said I've just loaded up the gear into the truck and am blowing the rest of the day off and going fishing. :jump:

Didn't occur to bring a picture taker.

Two about 14-16" on a Pt.Jude Joe Po-Jee.The wind was something else but it cut thru the wind no problem.

Gonna try again after work if ain't TO windy or rainy.

PS.What's a good but inexpensive digital camera to get?Having to wait to take
24 exposures before you can develope and then having to scan them into the puter is a pain in the backside.

That little Po-Jee is a killer - but wait'll you see the new trimaran eel squids I took for a test swim Wednesday at an Undisclosed Spot :tooth:

Basswipe, Sony make a good camera. If you are to get one get at least a 3 megapixel camera. The higer the number the better quality of pics. The kodac easy share cameras are pretty cheap I believe. Just get a Best Buy catalog and find the price range you would like to spend and then find the highest pixel size.

I would assume so.I wasn't fishing anywhere near a river. Not that it doesn't mean that holdover fish don't leave their wintering areas when bait starts showing up.These fish were as bright as any fish that I've caught any other time of the year.
