bcaron 04-10-2005, 09:38 PM Well finally broke the ice (figuratively) and went down to the Lower Conn. this weekend. I was using small storm shads and got nada. When I got back to the park n' fish area a group of guys was getting them on sandworms off the pier, 17"-22". I was in serious need of a de-skunking, so I ran to the tackle shop, and they were closed. :wall: But on the bright side, it was a glorious weekend, got some great pics and my first sunburn of the season. Let the games begin!
Mike P 04-10-2005, 09:40 PM So when is everyone going to start fishing?
When the bursitis in my right arm clear out :(
No point in fishing if ya can't cast :wall:
BadBass 04-11-2005, 08:33 PM Was down in Florida for a wedding this weekend, of course I had to take a charter on Sunday. Tarpon still weren't in due to some cold :bc: (to them) weather. Had a sweet day though caught a bunch of trout, ladyfish, reds and a summer flounder for good measure. I also managed to cultivate a sweet redneck look.
Still have a couple more weeks before action will start up north where I am, I got to get my ass in gear on the boat. :uhuh:
