macojoe 04-22-2005, 08:00 PM Thanks Cape!!
Its made out of 2 pieces of 3/4 Starboard to make 1 1/2" thick. Came out real nice and wikll out live the boat thats for sure!!
beamie 04-23-2005, 12:46 AM So MakoJoe,
Is that now a 26 foot Wellcraft you have now? Ya know if you had a slip for that boat they would try wacking you for another foot.
Seriously looks pissa, nice proportions.
I think I will buy some stock in Starboard the was Mako is going thru it this spring :laughs: :laughs:
macojoe 04-23-2005, 08:33 AM LOL!!
The boat was 20' 6" from the factory!
Add a 29" set back and the 12" for the pulpit, and it is Just about 24 feet with out the motor!!
I guess I can show you how to stretch a boat!! :scatter:
And I say it is Starboard but it is Seaboard, Its the same stuff but 1/2 the price!!
Thanks!!
Fisherwoman 04-23-2005, 09:05 AM You Guys are to freakin much LMAO :lasso:

Fisherwoman 04-23-2005, 10:04 AM Yup Saw that the other day buddy the boat is looking sharp!!!!
Looks great, your making that boat sweeter every time. :wiggle:
Now we need fishies.
macojoe 04-23-2005, 08:25 PM Thanks Van!! I am trying to get a 30 year old boat young again!! I think I have done ok! Should be ok for as long as I want to keeper!!
Yes now we need the fish!! Won't be long now!!
Where are you getting the Starboard...
macojoe 04-24-2005, 08:05 AM In a store silly!! I have not figured out how to make it yet myself??? :rotf2:
I am getting stuff called Seaboard, it is much much cheaper then Starboard and it the same thing!! Comes in more colors also!!
I bought the full 3/4 sheet last fall for $170, and I just bought a full sheet of 3/8 for $116 (54" X 96")
The $170 might be more now?? The web site has prices but they are not the same now. I told the guy he needs to update the site to reflect the increase.
The site says $86 for 3/8 but was $116 when I got there.
So I have no idea what a 3/4 would go for right now?
But it is still Much cheaper Starboard!!
Here they are :http://www.jfreeman.com/cpg_seaboard.html
Vectorfisher 04-24-2005, 09:12 AM Looks good Maco, only thing is I was always told that Starboard has no strength and will snap under a load, unlike wood which has fibrous bending strength.
macojoe 04-26-2005, 06:06 PM We shall see!! I have heard that it is twice as strong as wood???????
O well, for better or worse I am going to find out!!
