Does anyone here have a source for hard maple in RI?? or close to the RI boarder?

striprman 04-23-2005, 09:21 AM That's kind of an odd thread title
Charleston 04-23-2005, 09:24 AM If conditions are right you will find a hard male just about everywhere! :uhuh:
Backbeach Jake 04-23-2005, 09:42 AM Now I have to look in the mirror and ask why I clicked on this thread :wall: Hard Maple larger than 1x1 is getting hard to find. Salty has 1x1 for very reasonable.
reelecstasy 04-23-2005, 09:49 AM Look for a furniture store/manufacturer.. That is where I get all my hard wood, they have tons a scrap...
and best of all I get it all FREE
Eben, Edit your title will you...you're scaring me with that title. :smash:
RIROCKHOUND 04-23-2005, 10:12 AM Eben,
I hear upstairs at Celcilia's....
Woodie is going to be very upset if you start swiming that way...
Did you take up fly-fishing too? :laughs: :laughs:
tynan19 04-23-2005, 10:19 AM Wow where was your mind when you picked the title.
I picked up some hard maple dowels about a month ago at Aubuchons Hardware Store. I have to go see if they have some more so I will get back to you.
Tagger 04-23-2005, 10:20 AM I'm not steering,, leave me out of this thread .. one little typo :humpty: no silly pants here ..

Karl F 04-23-2005, 11:48 AM well, when I saw the original title, I thought that Clammah had taken one of those little blue pills :eek5: :hihi:
 um.... i guess i had a typo there.. Although i hear there is a great lumberyad in P-town that might have what I need :rotf2:
hillariious :hihi:
UserRemoved1 04-23-2005, 05:20 PM Eben do you want some more of the squares I have here?
yes salty, I will need some more of that at some point... but I also need some 6/4" hard for my larger darters.
I laughed about this all day :hihi:
UserRemoved1 04-23-2005, 07:44 PM How many pc you need of 6/4 and length....I can add it to my next order and get you any number of pcs... Cheap to ship on pallets. I am about to order some more birch also. You know the price on that stuff is cheap so the 6/4 will be around the same. Turning squares or s4s....the stuff you got before is turning squares which are decent to work with and cheaper than s4s stuff.
salty I  you...
i'll send you a PM :D
