John, how do you chnage the text size when viewing the board. Some sites you do it in the browser but changing the text size in the browser (IE) does not change the size the text is displayed here.

John,

should ALL questions be asked on the main board??? I'm just curious as I don't want to break the rules that you've tried to implement...and seeing as how one of your moderators posted this question on the main board, I'm guessing that's what YOU want right??? Also, does it matter WHO posts the question/thread?...in other words, if it's a newbiee to the site, it gets moved, but if it's some well known FISH GOD...it's ok??..just curious -

I'm sure everyone wants to know what YOU really want from this site and it's members. It seems EVERYONE really respects you and would do nothing but try to help you get this site in the shape and order you'd like it in. It seems that senior and experienced anglers of this site are getting confused....(of which I'm neither)...I'm just curious because I'd like to be as good as them someday.

There seems to be a LOT of chiefs running around here....where the hell's the sheriff?..

Mike, I think John mentioned before that for some reason, there is some trouble with changing the text size if you use IE, it works fine with Firefox.

Bloo, you want one of us to keep moving the non-fishing threads? A little sarcasm is OK but only in moderation ;)

Slip,

I only want what John wants....I just don't KNOW what it is he wants......you know I'm far from being a #^&#^&#^&#^&...same stuff gets old though. I'm sorry if I come across hard, I've never been one to dilly dally...it's normally "chit or get off the pot" for me. You guys need to know what to enforce or let go...I'm sure I'm making enemies....but the ones' that know me will still love me

I asked the question here since its a board operation issue all might benefit from and thought this was appropriate. There are several avenues i could have used to get the answere just for myself but i figured others here might be having similar problems seeing the default text size on the board.

If John thinks it was the wrong place to post it , he'll move it.

Nice to have you posting again after your long absence Bloo. Its good to know you still care enough what's happening here to ask such a sincere question in one of your first posts in months.

Mike, I apologize for using your question as an example. I understand exactly why you posted your question on the main board, and agree with your motif.....and you are more right than you know, I care ALOT about this site and it's members. I had fishing before the internet and not internet before fishing...this was my wmi ???...I'd hate to see it tank, or worse..me look for another place to interact with fishing friends. Unlike most, I don't have the time to hop from site to site anymore, time has become extremely valuable for me...I find one I like and stay true to it. I'm not sure which way this one is heading...it seems to have lost some direction from when the times I was more active. A LOT more members...which is good for John, but what happened to the discipline that existed some time ago? If you let a site go "Wild"...then wild is what it gets....

I believe I've found the answer I was searching for in another thread.
