I just wanted to remind everyone to be careful when trailering their boats around this year. Whether it be a boat, utility trailer, camper etc, remember to check the air in your tires, check the trailer lights as well as the bearings. Remember to give yourself some additional distance for stopping and stay in the right lane whenever possible. And if you don't trailer, please be patient with those who do.

 And for the driver of the maroon Volvo SUV on Route 9 in Westboro Saturday morning, your one lucky woman. I was as surprised as you that you made that exit without killing anyone or taking out the guardrail. I hope you weren't late for your Starbuck's coffee you inconsiderate wench........

Unfortunately many people who have never driven a truck or SUV towing a boat or camper have no idea what they are up againest. They think all vehicles respond like the ones they are driving in terms of braking and handling.

If you tow early in the morning or anytime after dark I highly recommend adding reflective tape to the back and sides of your trailers frame.

One morning heading down 495 for the canal around 4:30am I came upon a pickup towing a boat with no tail lights or trailer lights and I could not see them until I was right on top of them. The new reflective tapes are soo good you almost don't need rear running lights or at least makes for good insurance if your lights burnout.
