You get a pass this time Bob! :hihi: Good for you....I have seen fish and had my plugs hit but none landed yet...no fishy hands. Maybe Thursday. FishermanTim 05-06-2005, 01:46 PM Of course, the pinnacle of flyfishing for stripers next to catching a keeper is catching a fish on a fly that you tied yourself! Don't get me wrong, I have many "purchased" flies in my box, but I also have many of my own creations as well. My current favorite is a clouser imitation consisting of crystal flash over flashabou (both pearl colored) for a herring/silverside effect. Keep up the good work, and good luck for a keeper! Nice to catch something that had a chance to get away and you could not just muscle in. Maybe I might have to invest in a cheap flyrod to have on the boat.
