NO, I caught a fish(s)!!!! One with stripes, at one of my usual early season haunts up here in Salem. Outflow from a series of saltponds where it goes under a bridge culvert. A small, fat, white maple swimmer with a long white flatwing tail with a sexy wiggle that says "Bite ME". About an hour or so after high tide. Felt great to get one on one of my own plugs that I had I high hopes for... :-)

When you getting back....I got something for you :)

Need to hook up this week....My early season haunts have been dry so far...but I've been trying a little farther north.

They're in the Essex and Castleneck River for sure! My bet would be the Ipswich River as well. See you next week some time.... Getting back Monday.

I'll be out for first time this weekend, check in when you get back. TDF, I saw you under the in side bridge this week hiding from the wind... call me if you're out tomorrow.

NF, Will do. Catch a few you guys! Take a look at INdependanece Park as well. I"ve seen birds working there at the edge of the channel this week several times. Bait I've seen at Lead Mills and White Fuel has been very small, almost glass minnowlike. Very thin and transparent.

Also thinking about taking thursday and Friday off and taking the show on the road somewhere, maybe the canal or I might try RI , not sure yet.

I got something for you too, we'll have to hook up sometime in the near future
