Does epoxy have a shelf life? Mine is a bit over a year old (from when I bought it). The last two batches have stayed slightly tacky. Mixing very carefully, 50/50 ratio, room temp about 68 (Problem?), etc.

I called Environtex one time and they said it's shelf life is indefenite if you keep it tightly closed and at room temp. But my cellar is not room temp,so i buy the small sizes, little different in price, and use it up within a year.

I think only heat damages it,Cool is better.Ii heard this from an older gentleman in NY that seemed to really know his stuff & he claims he keeps it in the freezer indefinitely,he also said that the epoxy you buy today is mostly not even epoxy,he claims he had some military stuff that is the true epoxy.I wish i wrote down some of the technical stuff he was spewing out at 100 mph.

The stuff I'm using is called Famowood, from Home Depot. Anyone else tried it?

I have. Nearly identical properties to Enviro-lite.
