I know of someone who is real close in putting a book out on making lures.
He wants to add a saltwater section :)
So if you want the dirt and you want some of your lures in a book send me a pm and I will send you the details.
The only hitch I can see is he wants color pictures, not digital sent to him by the end of June.
Let me know

Peter, you are the only one that I know who has told me that they do salt water lures. Please, Please contact the others that you know and have them get in touch with me. I want to make one section of the book for Salt Water only. Thanks, for your help and support. John

Hi John,
Have you received any response from other saltwater lure makers? I just started 2 years ago but I know of over 1/2 doz guys who make works of art. And their lures catch huge striped bass and many other fish. I do not think I would be worthy as my friends! Please let me know if anyone has e-mailed you. I live in NewEngland,Capecod and the islands.
Regards
Peter

Photos:
· The publisher prefers color prints of good quality. The size of the photos from your standard photo processing company is fine - 3 ˝ x 5” or 4 x 6” preferably. Please do not send us the negatives. They prefer glossy photo finish. SEND ONLY COLOR PRINTS. PLEASE DO NOT SEND DISC OF PHOTOS
· Avoid very dark backgrounds when taking pictures (do NOT use black). Lighter colors or white works better for backgrounds - try a white window shade, paper, or fabric with no wrinkles. Please do not have anything distracting in the background, i.e., flowers, props, etc Avoid “hot spots” in the photo, i.e., reflections of the flash in the photo. Try shooting outdoors – bright cloudy days provide good lighting with fewer shadows
· Do NOT trim your pictures, and avoid getting the object's) too close to the edge of the photo (items in pictures should be centered; and at least 1/8” from the edge). The publisher needs to have extra space on the edge to place the photo – if objects are too close, they will appear cut off in the book.
· Please DO NOT write on the back/front of the photos OR tape anything to the photos like stickers or labels on the back/front.
· You will need to send us a separate list of the photo's) with the description's) and name of lure's) if you have one. You will need to use a pencil and LIGHTLY number the photo (i.e., 1, 2, 3, etc.) in the upper right hand corner on the back of the photo. THIS IS THE ONLY TIME when you can write on the back of the photo.
Biography Info:
· In your TYPED Biography please put in the following:
· Your name
· Your business name
· Your address, phone number & e-mail address for me to contact you if needed.
· How long have you been making lures
· What/Who got your started
· What type of lures do you make
· What is your technique in making them
· What type of wood/materials do you use
· Your location (city & state)
· If you want, a way for people to contact you (i.e. mailing address, e-mail, web page, etc.)
· Price list of lures (I will put “prices subject to change”)
Please send the pictures and biography to me at the above address. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me via e-mail. Please be patient if I do not respond to your e-mail right away as I travel a lot right now. My wife will respond to your e-mail and let you know when I will be back in town.
Thank you for all your support and help.
