View Full Version : hey Karl F!!!!
Flaptail 05-27-2005, 09:10 AM Heard yer beach got pretty :behead: chopped up and it might be closed for this weekend to everybody. I think yer finished there for a while :gorez: . Another reason to save 180.00 bucks. My skiff is ready when you are, at least you'll catch some fish. :wavey:
BasicPatrick 05-27-2005, 09:16 AM Flap....not just Karl's Beach....
Nantasket Beach...Gone...very and I mean very little sand left...the next few tides will be so very important
Flaptail 05-27-2005, 09:17 AM No way! :eek5:
Karl F 05-27-2005, 11:13 AM Nauset is effed, (I can hear old Bob Hope singin "Thanks for the Memories") and probably more than just for this weekend... bring your skiff to Orleans, we have a new inlet, at Pochet now... use the landing at Sparrowhawk...
North, (My side, Thank You very much) will probably re-open soon.....and it's still only 40 bucks for the locals :)
The real pity is, the fishing had been pretty good down there.....
Karl F 05-27-2005, 06:39 PM BM... check your PM's more bad news :(

fishaholic18 05-27-2005, 06:59 PM I checked all my rocks today.. they are still there :usd: :jump: :bl:

bassmaster 05-27-2005, 11:57 PM %$%$%$%$
beachwalker 05-28-2005, 06:03 AM place looks like a prison over there.......
capesams 05-28-2005, 08:33 AM just got through talking with John K [camp owner] said all the sand in front of his camp is now gone from the pass few days storm...he got stuck trying to get off....inside road is gone more water than sand. said he doesn't think it'll b long before the place get's shut down altogether.
Karl F 05-28-2005, 10:53 AM I gotta agree with John, water flowed through Pochet for over 30 hours straight, and the "puddle" near the cupula camp is really just the new water line on the marsh side. I heard there was a 2 day river between Kelly's camp and Hammatt's...
North side (Orleans Residents) is open and looking OK, lot of sand all the way to Eastham.... lining up my land marks, it appears that the last 1/2, 3/4 mile, is actually in Eastham, again....
likwid 05-28-2005, 10:56 AM holy.....

Karl F 05-29-2005, 09:03 AM second one south of Hammatts Hanger (#7)
he also has some kinda interest in the one right on the trail just past #2
Broads still high and dry :nailem:
South still closed, just yapped at them, another re-evaluation will take place on Tuesday AM, call 508-240-3780 after noon on Tuesday, they will have an answer then. They are waiting for some of the water to leave the back trail... couple of trucks have sucked in water and fried the engines, it's that deep  (Dave, make sure your air intake is up HIGH, some of them fords have a low air intake, follow the hose)
Karl F 06-01-2005, 02:47 PM It's open, be careful out there
macojoe 06-01-2005, 09:54 PM I walked it Sunday and I talked with a couple of guys that said it was good fishing early but I was there at 11 am and they were getting ready to leave.
Its a good thing it was low tide when I got there!! There is nothing to walk on at high!!
