anyone know how to free up salt encrustesd zippers??? It is on my waders and made of plastic.

wash it out then coat it with soap to get the pull moving.

Wash with warm water and then spray olive oil on it.

Try silicone spray.

If it's stuck and it shouldn't be, use WD - 40,

if it moves and it shouldn't, use duct tape. :bl:

but i think the best product for a plastic zipper is armor all
for plastic.....makes it slicker than ya need it to be...
i'd use compressed air to clean out the salt....

thanks for the replies...I got it soaking in warm water now....I think I'll try the amor-all...I have some in a spray

be carefull of that stuff.. melts rubber and foam and if you spray it on asphault it will eat a hole in it.
