Did they start charging a fee at the entrance?
If so, does that include fishermen?

Notaro 06-03-2005, 11:41 AM they just charged me! the woman didn't accept the golden pass! what's wrong with it?!?! FishermanTim 06-09-2005, 10:31 AM I went down to the east end last night. At 7:30 - 7:45 pm there was no one at the park entrance. GOOD At 9:00 pm ranger "Smith" comes walking up and down the jetty telling EVERYONE that they have to leave because they are locking the gates. Since when did they start this crap? This same ranger told me if I wanted to fish, then I had to go to the fish pier. Once again, what is this crap? I would love to know what is going on down there. FishermanTim 06-09-2005, 11:52 AM I just sent an email to the Dept of Conservation & Recreation regarding the gate issue. I will post their reply (if any). NaCl H2O 06-15-2005, 10:36 AM Got this information off one of the other striper boards: They are locking the beach gate at 8:00 p.m. due to some alleged vandalisim there (broken lights in the parking lot.. and how do they know it wasn't caused by kids who were camping there??).
