Well last night had the boat ready for a voyage to middle ground, well you know dragging wire ,plugging hitting the spots for black sea bass on the way home .
We were up late be cause Link Jr. is grauduating Sunday and up at 4 AM.
I got up and found my little table with a plant on the floor in the kitchen my sister in law woke up and said me and Vinnie ( my cat) jumped @ 3 am to a noise,I said I'm going fishing ,Mary went right go back to sleep,I made coffee got JR. up off to ramp.
got set up and low and behold no ignition key went back and forth and finallly
decided to go home get key then go out I'm 10 min. from ramp
I walk in the door and my sister in -law is acting weird calling my wife ,and I'm saying WHAT IS THE MATTER!!!!!!!!!!ffefeyncbnbvskk.
Have you ever herd of an omen ,,, come to find out my Mom had a MASSIVE STROKE @ 3 AM the same time table tipped,& no ign., key I'm so glad I went home, come to find out my MOM fell and tipped a table with a plant at the same time she was having her stroke , I've spent the day at ma. general hosp . My MOM, Sandy , is stable but she can't swallow and is has no movement on her left side .
I don't mean to bum you guy's out but any prayres would help
thanking you in advance , LINK SR. ( mike corcoran)

for your mum to have a speedy recovery Link....
i think she'll regain her left side sensitivity in time...
it just takes a little while for the nerve tissue to re route new pathways.
i hear ya on the peculiar happenings though ....as a similar thing has
happened to me....in the past.....when i just knew things weren't right.
and it was an indicator of another event taking place...
strange how that works.....but it does...

Mike, I am so sorry to hear about your mom's stroke.

I can't tell you how many times I've had visions of my own that preceded or were concurrent with something major happening, so don't discount it at all.

I will say a prayer for your mom's continued recovery.

YOU GUY'S are the BEST , thanks for all your prayers and well wishes.
My Mom is still the same but can swallow a small amount of thick juice , but no sign of movement on the left side, severely bruised on the left side from the fall, she can talk and wants to move around, I guess day by day things might improve.
Again ,thanks from the Link's

That's a small improvement, and that's the way it comes, a little at a time. My Dad went through this, and all signs of a stroke eventually disappeared. Modern medicine is amazing and you must maintain a positive outlook. I'll continue to keep her in my thoughts. Chin up!

Link...when my Dad had his stroke, and he was not supposed to make it......he was up and walking after about a week and still needed a little therapy to get some sensation back in his hands and legs but he did great and lived another 12 years. We were lucky to have had him for that long after the stroke he had.....it was a brain stem clot and it was bad. Your Mom sounds better and so do you! I wish her well and to the Link family as well. :bounce:
